External Transportation
Airplane: Fuzhou Changle International Airport. There are various transportation options from the airport to the urban area, such as airport buses, which can directly reach multiple stops in Fuzhou.
Train/High-speed Rail: Fuzhou Railway Station is located in the northern part of the urban area with convenient transportation; Fuzhou South Railway Station is slightly south but also connected to the urban area by subway and other public transport.
Coach: Fuzhou has multiple long-distance bus stations. If there is a direct coach route from your departure place to Fuzhou, it is also an option.
Self-driving: It is convenient to drive to Fuzhou from surrounding cities. It takes about 3 hours from Xiamen and about 2 hours from Quanzhou.
Intra-city Transportation
Bus: The urban bus routes are extensive. Most buses support mobile payment, with a general fare of 1 yuan. Some air-conditioned buses or tourist buses may have different fares, and tourist buses can directly reach major scenic spots.
Taxi/Online Car-hailing: The starting fare for taxis is 10 yuan, and you can also use well-known online car-hailing platforms to book a car.
Shared Bikes/Electric Bikes: There are a large number of shared bikes and electric bikes in the urban area, with many parking spots, suitable for short-distance travel.

Gulou District: The core area of Fuzhou, adjacent to many attractions such as Sanfang Qixiang and West Lake Park, with a strong cultural atmosphere and convenient transportation.

Historical and Cultural Relics
Sanfang Qixiang: Known as the "Museum of Ming and Qing Architecture", it consists of three lanes, seven alleys and a central street. There are many ancient-style buildings, numerous former residences of celebrities, and you can also taste special snacks and visit cultural and creative stores.
Fujian Museum: A comprehensive museum with strong Fujian characteristics, with rich cultural relics covering the historical and cultural treasures of Fujian from ancient times to the present. It is open to the public for free.
Lin Zexu Memorial Hall: Located at No. 16 Aomen Road, Gulou District, Fuzhou, it was built to commemorate the national hero Lin Zexu, displaying his life story and his contributions to the Opium War and other aspects.
Shangxiahang: Once a commercial center, it still retains many ancient houses and guild halls. Walking on the stone roads, you can almost feel the prosperity of the old Fuzhou commercial port.Natural Scenery
Pingtan Island: The largest island in Fujian, retaining the original island style with charming coastal scenery. The sea erosion landform of Shipaiyang is 奇特壮观 (spectacular), and the beach of Tannan Bay is delicate and soft.
Gushan Mountain: A well-known attraction in Fuzhou, a good place for climbing and exercising. The thousand-year-old Yongquan Temple on the mountain is popular, and there are various forms of cliff carvings along the climbing path.
Fuzhou West Lake Park: The oldest park in Fuzhou, with rippling lake waters and hazy mountain views. There are many historic sites in the park, with unique garden landscapes, and you can also take a boat tour here.

Featured Dishes
Buddha Jumps Over the Wall: A mixture of various delicacies in one jar, with rich ingredients and a mellow soup. It is a classic dish in Fujian cuisine.
Litchi Meat: Meat pieces shaped like lychees, crispy outside and tender inside, sweet and sour. It is a traditional famous dish in Fuzhou.
